Kabbalah Experience Learning
Kabbalah Experience provides an open, safe and
non-judgmental environment for students to learn the
teachings of Kabbalah in order to become more spiritually
aware, express more fully their creativity and deepen their
compassion for themselves and others. While Jewish in its
origin and language, the Kabbalah Experience curriculum has
a universal spiritual message. The adult centered method of
learning appeals to people who learn best when their own
thinking process is encouraged and engaged.

Avoiding Living Probate: Understanding Colorado’s
Guardianship & Conservatorship Process With Naomi Starosta
and Von Limbaugh
Some startling statistics: Recent data indicates that 52
million adults in the United States are providing care for a
loved one that has a disability or illness. More than half
of care recipients (56%) are under age 75, and almost
one-third (28%) are under age 50. Just over 1 in 4 of
today's 20 year-olds will become disabled before they
retire. Without proper planning, such a situation can become
financially ruinous, allowing the government to take assets
accumulated over a lifetime of hard work to pay for the
long-term care needs of the incapacitated individual.
“Living probate” refers to this increasingly common
scenario. Appointing a guardian or conservator can assist in
protecting the assets and legal rights of individuals facing
the above situation. Our presentation will focus on the
guardianship and conservatorship process here in Colorado.
Naomi Starosta, J.D., a
long-standing member of HEA and volunteer organizer for the
“Tot Shabbat” program, currently serves as the Director for
Business Affairs and Public Policy at The Limbaugh Law Firm.
With over Oren V. “Von” Limbaugh has over a decade
experience in Colorado, with hislimited to estate planning,
elder law, probate, and special needs matters for adults and
children. Von earned his J.D. and a postgraduate Master of
Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Denver, one of the
top-ranked tax law programs in the United States.
