Brotherhood

The HEA Brotherhood provides a wonderful, egalitarian opportunity for all of our congregants to be involved in service to the entire Alliance community. Each year, we sponsor two joyful celebrations for the community: the Purim Carnival, and the free Annual Picnic. The Purim Carnival is a time of joy for the children and adults as we celebrate a joyous holiday. The picnic is held during the summer, and is a delightful event that includes lots of food, treats for the children, and many fun activities for children and adults alike.

The only people who have more fun than the kids are the volunteers, whose time and energy make these events possible. Volunteering is a great way to meet people, to get involved, and to become a part of the community.

We do not charge for membership in the Brotherhood, however, much of the funding for the Picnic comes through the generosity of individuals within the Alliance community.

The HEA Brotherhood meetings are usually held on  of each month.

Always check the calendar in the Highlights should the date need to be changed due to a holiday.

The Brotherhood Board meets from 9:30 am -11:00 am
Programming ideas are shared through the Brotherhood Steering Committee, which is mainly an e-mail advisory board.
