HEA “Make Ready Day”
Sunday, February 26th, During Religious School
It’s time to make the decorations for the Purim Carnival! Bring a dairy, bag lunch, and then get your creative juices flowing. This event is for youth from K through 7th grades.

Movie: One Night With the King
Wednesday, February 29, 7:15 pm, HEA Social Hall, No charge, and there will be popcorn!
With Purim just 1 week away join us for this movie interpretation of the Purim story. The movie is rated PG.

HEA Shalach Manot, Bag Stuffing
Thursday, March 1, 6 pm, HEA Lobby
Gifts of food are a Purim mitzvah. The HEA gives a delicious bag of goodies to every member family! Help us stuff the bags! Volunteers needed and this is lots of fun. Children are welcome to help.

Sunday, March 4
HEA Shalach Manot Delivery
You may pick up bags any time between 9 am and 1:30 pm.
If you would like to deliver bags but need to pick them up in advance, we are able to accommodate you, just let us know (please note, the bags won’t be ready until March 1 around 8 pm)
We need lots of drivers to deliver the food gifts to our members. Delivery routes are compact, mapped out door to door for you, and take ½ hour – 45 minutes.
>> If you can take one or more routes, please contact Naomi Kirshner.  If there is an area you know you want, or know you don’t want, please indicate this, and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

Sunday, March 11
HEA Family Purim Program!
11:00am – 12:00 pm, Family Program, Sanctuary
Come in costume and join the HEA Clergy as they present an interactive telling of the Purim story. Costume parade to follow. Since it is a mitzvah to give food to the poor on Purim, we once again ask that you bring your own “grogger,” a box of rice, macaroni, or anything else that rattles and can then be donated to the food bank.

Sunday, March 11
Purim Carnival! Games Food & Fun
12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Game tickets: $.75 each (each game is one ticket)
Lunch: Pizza, salad, hamentaschen and drink $4.00
Children's Carnival Package: Lunch and 20 game tickets $15 pre-paid; $18 at the door. Family Carnival Package: Lunch for entire household and 50 tickets, $50 pre-paid or $55 at the door. Pre-pay by March 2

Payment must be included with your reservation to get the early-bird discount. Credit card or check accepted. If you would like to volunteer to help, please let us know!

It’s Purim! Purim Seudah (Feast), 6:30 pm at the HEA
Join us for a diary dinner before Megillah reading
Cost $10 per person

Megillah Reading Followed by Staff Shpiel!
7:15 pm at the HEA Main Sancturary
>> The staff shpiel is for adults only.

7 am Morning services and megillah reading
