The HEA Sisterhood meetings are usually held on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
Always check the calendar in the Highlights should the date need to be changed due to a holiday.
Sisterhood
The Sisterhood Board meets from 9:30 am -11:00 am and then the meetings are open to the general Sisterhood membership from 11:00 until noon!   We welcome your interest and participation. Meetings are held in the chapel or the library.

  • If you want to volunteer to join other Sisterhood members and chat and bake hamentashen on Sunday February 7 or 14, please RSVP by leaving a message with your name, phone number and the date you want to help on the Sisterhood’s message box at 303.758.9400 x207. Questions about orders or baking can be left at this number as well.


Knit with the Sisterhood

The HEA Sisterhood is looking for 24 members who would like to help knit a beautiful afghan that will be donated as a fundraiser for the HEA. This intermediate to advanced project consists of 24 squares to be knit by individuals in group knitting nights or at home. If you would be interested in helping with this project, please leave a message on the Sisterhood’s message box at 303.758.9400 x207.

Fiddler On The Roof
The Sisterhood has reserved a limited number of tickets for Fiddler On The Roof, starring Harvey Fierstein as Tevye.

Our tickets are for Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Seating is in the orchestra section of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. For more information and to reserve tickets please contact Bev Hartzman or call 303-756-3965.

 

Tying Flannel Blankets

On Tuesday, April 13, 7:00 pm and Sunday, April 25, at 10:00 am, the HEA Sisterhood will be tying flannel blankets to be donated to Shalom Park and Children’s Hospital. If you are interested helping with this project, please leave a message on the Sisterhood extension at the HEA (303.758.9400 x 207) or Email Kerry Wolpo and leave your name, phone number and the date you are interested in helping so that we can make sure we have enough supplies for everyone. You will receive a confirmation phone call.
