Mile High USY
(Grades 9-12)
The Hebrew Educational Alliance is proud to sponsor a chapter of
United Synagogue Youth (USY). Our chapter, Mile High USY, meets five
to six times each month. There is an elected group of teen board
members that plan various programs including lounge nights, social
action events, membership programs, and many more. In addition to a
handful of chapter conferences, there is also a regional convention
component, as our chapter belongs to the EMTZA Regional USY.
Students that are members of our USY chapter are eligible to attend
three grand scale conventions throughout the year. Costs for
programs vary based on activity. USY is also responsible for
participating in various Hebrew Educational Alliance programs
including the Purim Carnival, running Shabbat Services, connecting
with the Religious School and helping through Tikkun Olam.
