We look forward to Sunday’s interactive workshop for preteens and parents, called “B-Mitzvah: Why am I doing this?” 

If the past year has taught us anything, it is that nothing can be taken for granted and that even our most basic assumptions can be called in to question. One of those questions may be around what it means to have b-mitzvah in our current world and what the event might mean given all that we have experienced. The family education and preteen sessions will connect Jewish wisdom to the inter-personal and social elements that come with the coming-of-age ritual.  We want to help you and your child think about these questions and others you may have.

In order to make our time together more special, please bring a tallit if you have one. You will be instructed when to use it. (If not, we will have extras).
