Photography Waiver: By attending this event, you agree to be photographed and/or filmed and give permission to use your likeness in JEWISHcolorado promotional and marketing materials.
VOLUNTEER’S AGREEMENT, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND RELEASE/WAIVER OF CLAIMS
1. Voluntary Participation: I acknowledge that I have voluntarily agreed to participate in the JEWISHcolorado Celebrate Israel event on May 3, 2026. I understand that JEWISHcolorado is acting as facilitator for Celebrate Israel event. I understand that as a volunteer I will not be paid for my services and that I will not be eligible for any Workers Compensation benefits. I further agree that my participation as a volunteer may be orally terminated at any time by those requesting my assistance, a JEWISHcolorado representative, or by me for any reasonable reason.
2. Assumption of Risk: I am aware that by participating in the JEWISHcolorado Celebrate Israel event on May 3, 2026, I may be exposed to personal injury or death or damages to myself and my property as a result of my activities, the activities of other volunteers – who may not at all times act carefully – and/or the conditions under which my volunteer services are performed. I have knowledge of the possible risks, including, but not limited to the existence of hazardous materials or conditions at the worksite, and I know and appreciate those risks. I have received no assurance that these activities will be risk free and I acknowledge the possibility of negligent conduct by me and by other volunteers and individuals present. With knowledge of these risks, I voluntarily undertake to encounter these known or unknown risks and I expressly agree to assume any and all risks of personal injury or death or damage to me and/or my property.
3. Waiver: In light of the Assumption of Risk described in the preceding paragraph, I hereby waive and release any rights, claims, actions or causes of action for personal injury of any type or death or for damage to my property against JEWISHcolorado and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, and any and all individuals participating in the JEWISHcolorado Celebrate Israel event to the extent such rights, claims, actions or causes of action arise out of or relate in any way to my participation in the JEWISHcolorado Celebrate Israel event.
4. Consent: I further freely consent to the unrestricted use of my likeness by those requesting my assistance and/or any person authorized by them to take any photographs, recordings, interviews, videotapes, motion picture or similar visual or auditory recording of me in connection with the JEWISHcolorado Celebrate Israel event, and I expect and anticipate no remuneration there from.
