The Perpetually Perplexed Purim Players and the HEA have teamed up to present this year’s FREE community Purim shpiel for the 9th time! This year, the Shpiel is “I Guess That’s Why They Call It a Shpiel” based on the music of Elton John. We know you love Rocketman and Your Song and Bennie and the Jets and MORE.
As usual, the shpiel features the “good guys” like Mordecai and Esther, “bad guys” like King Achashveros and Haman, and an appearance by the evil guards Bigtan and Teresh. There are even MORE surprises with talent and characters never seen before. After the show, don’t forget to grab some delicious Hamantaschen!
The large and very talented cast of adults and children have been rehearsing for weeks, along with the PPPP’s own band! DON’T MISS HEA’s Rabbi Sarah Shulman and Musical Director Eitan Kantor as they share their talents with all of us.
This year, the PPPP has worked to make the shpiel sensory-friendly with options for a quieter experience. We also request no groggers during the show, please.
The shpiel is appropriate for all ages, and we guarantee you will laugh, or your ticket price will be refunded. Don’t forget tickets are FREE.
