On Sunday, October 25th Israeli American celebrity chef with over one million social media followers, Ruhama Shitrit will come to the HEA for a cooking demonstration, sharing authentic Middle Eastern recipes to be enjoyed by all.A VIP/Sponsor’s Meet-and-Greet will be held prior to the event and a dessert reception will be held after highlighting some of the very best Sisterhood recipes. Cooking tips, more great recipes, Anniversary Store, and much more!
The event is open to everyone 16 years and older. Seating is limited so register early.
Wow! Honoring HEA Sisterhood’s Legacy of Community, Cooking, and Caring
It all started in the 1920s on the West Side of Denver with the women of the Beth David Sisterhood and the Denver Hebrew Alliance. Seeing the need to provide a Jewish environment to literally keep their children out of the streets and out of mischief, the women brought together the many small local synagogues to form the Hebrew Educational Alliance. It was a place of learning and celebrating Jewish heritage. Today, we remember these amazing women whose vision laid the foundation for HEA’s strong, vibrant, and enduring Jewish community. For 100 years, the HEA Sisterhood has supported youth education and programming, as well as provided for the essential needs of HEA’s congregation. Help us as we kick off the next 100 years!
