An abridged weekday minyan will be offered daily via Zoom Conferencing. This platform allows minyan participants to interact in a virtual conference space, making it possible for people to share leadership, say kaddish, respond to prayers and share misheberachs. As we often do at morning minyan, there will be some time at the conclusion of the service to share a cup of coffee and chat with one another. HEA’s morning minyan is a friendly community that supports one another, especially those reciting kaddish. Whether you plan on joining the service or not, the rabbis will be available in the open virtual room from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m.

Siddur Sim Shalom for Weekdays

Zoom is a computer program allowing for interactive connecting for a group. It is being used more now then ever.  However, many of you may not have used Zoom before. Click HERE for a quick and accessible tutorial on the program.

Halachic (Jewish Legal) Basis for Remote Video Services
The Conservative Movement’s Committee on Jewish Law and Standards (CJLS) has issued guidance for synagogues to provide services under these extraordinary circumstances, including the recitation of Kaddish and other prayers that require a minyan. To learn more, visit Rabbinical Assembly website (https://www.rabbinicalassembly.org/story/cjls-guidance-remote-minyanim-time-covid-19).

Siddurim (Prayer Books)
If you don’t have prayer books at home, you can download PDFs of the Conservative Movement’s siddurim by visiting https://www.rabbinicalassembly.org/form/form-to-download-e-siddur

You will be asked to fill out a very short form, which simply asks you to agree to only use this copyrighted material for personal use during the COVID crisis.  Once you fill out the form, you can download, store and print all the siddur sections you want.  To participate in morning minyan online, you will want the “Siddur Sim Shalom: Shacharit for Weekdays.”  For Shabbat morning services, download “Siddur Lev Shalem: Shabbat Morning.”

Prayers for Healing (Misheberach)
If you would like us to include people in our misheberach prayer for healing, please email the person’s English and Hebrew names to jperlmutter@HEAdenver.org.

If you have questions or feedback about online services, please contact Rabbi Gruenwald at rabbig@HEAdenver.org or 303-999-5250.
