BASIC INFORMATION
When is the trip?
The trip will begin in Jerusalem on Wednesday, March 11, and you will arrive back in the US on Thursday, March 19. People will be asked to book tickets that leave on Tuesday.
What will we be doing on the trip?
You can view a draft of the itinerary HERE. Note, this will be a draft itinerary and subject to change.
Who is leading the trip?
Rabbi Shulman and Amy Karp will be leading and facilitating this trip, along with our wonderful educator and guide, Jonty Blackman.
For whom is the trip appropriate?
The trip is designed to offer experiences for both those who have been to Israel before, and others who are experiencing Israel for the first time. While this trip is not specifically designed for families, the trip is open to all who would like to join us, and we can adapt accordingly.
Who is our travel partner?
We are partnering with Israel Maven, a well-established Israeli touring company..
Will we be flying together?
You do not have to fly with the group. However, we will be sending out recommended flights for participants to consider in the months before the trip.
What do I need to know about passports?
Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months after the final day of the trip to ensure smooth and easy travel.
May we arrive early or stay longer?
You may arrive early. We just ask that you meet the group in Jerusalem on March 11 at the hotel. Also, we anticipate that many participants will choose to extend their stay in Israel, which we encourage as it works for you.
Do I need to be an HEA member to participate on this trip?
While we anticipate that the majority of participants will be HEA members, the trip is open to both members and non-members (with a slight additional fee).
