Our HEART Youth programs consists of 3 chambers:

  • Youth All Access Passport for 8-12 grade
  • Nitzanim for 6-7 grade
  • Atid for 3-5 grade

Our youth programs offer meaningful educational and social experiences for our students, while providing them the opportunity to connect with their friends. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming Jewish community that fosters a sense of pride and belonging. Each program empowers its student board to express their choices and creativity in programing, and offers leadership opportunities to all participants. Both participation and supervision by the HEA Youth Advisor, Clergy and Education Staff are Integrated into all the programs.

About the Atid-Keshet program:
Keshet is a unique program developed by the Israeli American Council to promote Jewish identity, and strengthen children’s connection to Israel, its culture and language. KeSheT stands for Kehila – Community, Safah – Language, and Tarbut – Culture. This program brings together Israeli and American children, allowing each participant to engage, self-express & create. Keshet sessions cover a variety of topics with Israel and “Israeliness” in its core.
Thanks to a generous HEA Fund, the cost of the program is only $10 per student for the whole year! This is a New & Unique program for HEA in both scope, content and students’ commitment. Student participation is required to reach its potential. Please register HERE . Scholarships are always available!

About the Nitznim-Ofek program:
Nitznim-Ofek is a 10-session series running January 2021 to May 2021.
The program will meet twice a month on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00pm.
The first 45 minutes of each meeting will be dedicated to a different monthly subject (see list below) taught by an Israeli professional with expertise on the subject. After a short recess, Eldad Malka from IAC Colorado will lead a session on leadership skills through team building activities. Eldad will also connect the Ofek program and the participants’ own Jewish journey.

The HEA Nitzanim-Ofek will offer the following special topics:

  • TLV Graffiti: January 12 & 26
We will learn about Tel Aviv graffiti and the stories behind Israeli street art. Participants will need white paper, scissors, crayons and a black marker.
  • Animation: February 9 & 23
We will learn how to create animation videos. We recommend using a desktop or a laptop with a mouse and PowerPoint.
  • Israeli Music: March 9 & 23
We will experience and learn about current and past Israeli Music and the most updated trends happening now in Israel.
  • April 6 & 20 - TBD
  • May 11 & 25 - TBD

Thanks to a generous HEA youth scholarship, the cost of the series is only $40 per student! This is a new and unique program for us in both scope, content and students’ commitment and we hope that you will encourage your child to participate.  Please register your child HERE. Additional scholarships are available.
