Confirmation

Confirmation has been part of the HEA tradition for many years. Our 10th-grade students follow in the footsteps of multiple generations as they explore another step on their Jewish learning ladder. Confirmation is not the end of Jewish education. Instead, it is an affirmation that they will continue their Jewish education.

Our 10th Grade Confirmation Cohort will meet under the theme of Confirmation, the Next Step in Your Jewish Journey. The 7 sessions will have a variety of topics related to Jewish Ethics, Mentorship, Comparative Religions and Comparative Jewish Denominations. Confirmation will be taught by Rabbi Shulman. We are currently planning a trip to DC for November, but as we discussed, we are open to rescheduling the trip to be in spring 2025 instead. We conclude with a Confirmation Ceremony and a special shabbat dinner.

Participating in HEA’s Confirmation unlocks $500 in extra scholarship funding for the IST Israel trip.
