Maya is a dedicated and hard-working student who recently began 7th grade at Cherry Creek Academy. She has a passion for basketball, enjoys baking, and has a natural talent for art. Over the past year, Maya participated in two pre-B’nai Mitzvah programs, Mensch Academy and Ignite, both of which she found deeply meaningful. She has embraced her journey toward becoming a Jewish adult with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness, and she looks forward to continuing her Jewish learning in the years ahead. We are incredibly proud of her for reaching this important milestone in her life.
As part of her Bat Mitzvah project, Maya chose to partner with Heal the Bay and spent time cleaning up the beaches of California (and around the world)—a cause close to her heart. She’s passionate about protecting marine life and keeping our oceans clean for future generations.
