Welcome to the Hebrew Educational Alliance Preschool
Preschool is a rewarding experience for children and their parents. It makes an important contribution to each child's growth and development through deep respect for the individual child, emphasis on developing creative thinking, a positive approach to language development, and promotion of cooperative effort. At the Hebrew Educational Alliance Preschool we are committed to building an inclusive and diverse Jewish community of learners.
We invite you to look into our happy, noisy, creative classrooms and see children at play. We want you to understand the validity of play and its importance in learning. Children learn through play based activities that allow them to mimic and define life experiences and achievements. Parents and teachers working together can create a rich and stimulating environment for your children.
HEA Preschool Vision Statement
The HEA preschool is a warm and inclusive second home for our families, one rooted in Jewish values and traditions and guided by best practices in early childhood education.
We value learning and invest in extraordinary educators. We do this through competitive compensation, professional development and support.
We recognize each child as a capable and valued member of our community. Our educators provide a safe, emotionally supportive setting to encourage playful inquiry and ensure our children gain the skills necessary to become lifelong learners.
We believe that children, families, and educators should work in partnership to create an environment filled with love, exploration, and wonder. Through collaborative learning, we provide engaging outdoor and indoor spaces which foster creativity and imagination and support children's growth.
We welcome and encourage families to connect with one another, to build lifelong relationships and to meaningfully engage in the HEA programs and in the broader Jewish community.
Program Goals
The programs are designed to meet the individual child's needs and to promote continuous growth in the social, emotional, intellectual, physical and creative areas of development. Our programs emphasize the development of a positive Jewish identity through experiences involving Shabbat, Jewish holidays, blessings, culture and values.
Play is the major activity of all young children and the basic ingredient of their learning. It is the medium for self expression in the way each child organizes and makes sense of the world. To play is to invent, hypothesize, test, and discover. It provides the most permanent and meaningful learning of cognitive concepts. Play promotes social values. Social sensitivity is not something that is suddenly achieved. It is a slow process that involves learning how to share, cooperate, and empathize with others. Through play experiences the child learns to initiate and sustain relationships with others, building interpersonal trust and emotional maturity. We provide a large variety of constructive, dramatic, and creative materials and experiences.
Hebrew Educational Alliance Preschool Philosophy
Our purpose and prime responsibility is to provide a safe, wholesome environment where children enjoy socializing and learning. It is important that children between the ages of 12 months and five years develop a positive self-image, which will provide a solid beginning for future development.

FREE COVID-19 Testing
As you know, COVID-19 cases are on the increase in Colorado. The rise in transmission in the community can cause stress and uncertainty about potential closures, however, COVIDCheck Colorado (CCC) has helped hundreds of thousands of employees and students get back to work and school by providing regular, accessible, and free COVID-19 testing.
CCC has recently been able to significantly expand their COVID-19 testing services to help make testing available for more Coloradans. As part of this expansion, they are partnering with DPP to offer COVID-19 testing to any of our families and/or providers who visit a CCC test site - free of charge. This registration link includes the list of locations that provide free testing (no insurance information required) to anyone who is interested.
