TIKKUN OLAM: HOPE TO HOME
We are a small, collaborative group of fellow congregants who answered the HEA Connect call to form a Tikkun Olam group. We chose to focus our repairing the world efforts at helping those in Denver’s unhoused community.

MAKE THE CONNECTION
Each month we pack 50-100 Bags of Hope which contain nutritious snacks, toiletries, socks and bottled water. The bags are distributed by our nonprofit partners the St Francis Center and Interfaith Alliance and used to make a connection to those who are ready to start on a path towards home.
SUPPORT THE TRANSITION
Help us to provide food to those who are in supportive shelter situations. You can cook at home, we give you the recipe and you bring your creation to the HEA parking lot so that we can deliver them to the Delores Project, a women’s shelter. You can also support the So All May Eat (S.A.M.E.) Café’s food truck delivery of dinners to the Safe Outdoor Spaces (S.O.S.). Operated by the Colorado Village Collaborative, these are healthy, secure, staffed, resource and service-rich environments that provide an outdoor, individualized sheltering option for people experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Denver.
CELEBRATE HOME
Honor those who have made it to supportive housing but have no furnishings for their new home. Jewish Family Services offers kits and celebration baskets in every price range to outfit everything from a kitchen to a child’s room.
