Course description:

Connectivism is an activism program offered by the Israeli-American Council. Through interactive, discussion-based  sessions taught by activism experts, students will learn about antisemitism, how to recognize it, what it can look like and how we can define it with words. Students will also learn about the difference between antisemitism and constructive criticism of Israel, about Israel activism’s terminology. They will practice responding to the tough questions about Israel, using the activism tools they received during the course.

The purpose of this program is to equip the students with valuable information, tools, and skills to be comfortable with their identity and to deal with antisemitism in a safe, smart, non-confrontational way.

  • Connectivism workshops offer a unique and timely solution to the difficulty of our communities to deal with antisemitism in all of its shapes and forms.
  • Connectivism is an efficient tool to also engage groups and connect them to take action.
  • Our line of values is:

o Israel is a legitimate state.

o Antisemitism is unacceptable.

There is no charge for this event.
