Shabbaton Weekend: August 18-20

A Shabbaton with Rabbi Corey Helfand that promises to get us all in the right place for the upcoming High Holy Days!  

Rabbi Corey Helfand joined Ohr Kodesh Congregation (OKC) in July 2021. Under his rabbinic leadership, OKC is a thriving, sacred community known for its member engagement. He received his rabbinic ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary as well as a Master’s degree in Talmud and Jewish law and a concentration in pastoral care. He was a recipient of the prestigious Gladstein Fellowship and studied entrepreneurship rabbinics with an emphasis on visioning and community building. He is a gifted teacher, speaker, pastoral presence, and storyteller. Be prepared to learn, laugh and deepen your love of Judaism. We look forward to welcoming  Rabbi Helfand and his family to HEA for this special Shabbaton weekend.
