Amita Forman will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah at Traditional morning services on Saturday, September 3 at 9:30 a.m. Amita is the daughter of Wendy and Kevin Forman, sister of Benjamin, and grandchild of Patti (Gary) Forman, Arthur and Nedra NeCollins, and Edgar and Kathy Link.

Amita enjoys skiing, spending time with friends and family, playing sports, and animals (especially dogs). For her mitzvah project, Amita and her family adopted their dog through Soul Dog Rescue and he has become an integral part of the family. Amita is passionate about animals and the Soul Dog Rescue mission: Soul Dog Rescue performs collaborative, targeted work, primarily through spay/neuter in underserved regions in order to create sustainable change and promote cultural shifts regarding the treatment of companion animals.
