Clergy Message in Response to Iran's Attack on Israel
Tonight, we reach out to you with a message of prayer and solidarity in response to today’s frightening attack from Iran on Israel.
Our hearts are full of gratitude for the leadership of the Israel Defense Forces and for American and allied support. We thank God that the technology exists today to intercept the nearly 200 drones and missiles sent from Iran and Hezbollah.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the people of Israel. We pray for the continued safety of all citizens in Israel, including the family members of our community.
Recognizing the power of community, we invite you to join us at HEA tomorrow evening in the chapel for a special Ma’ariv service at 6:30 p.m. We will come together as a community in prayer, song, and hope for the safety of all those in Israel. Also, we invite you to join the Jewish Federations of North America for a special briefing tomorrow, Sunday, April 14, at 8:00 a.m. Register HERE.
As we approach the holiday of Passover, may we draw on the resilience of our people to get through this tense and difficult time together.
Am Yisrael Chai, Rabbi Salomon Gruenwald and Rabbi Sarah Shulman
