Today we reach out to inform you that Rebecca Paradis, our Preschool Director, has made the difficult decision to move on from her role at HEA at the end of July to pursue other professional endeavors. Words cannot even begin to describe how grateful we are to Rebecca for her 25 years of service to our preschool community as a teacher and Director. In her time at HEA, Rebecca has fostered the learning and growth of hundreds of children and staff within the supportive, empowering, and joyful culture she has built.
She sustained our school through COVID and other challenges as they arose, and she has set the HEA Ppreschool on a bright path for the future.
We will be coming together as a community to thank Rebecca for her years of service and leadership to our community. Stay tuned for more information about an upcoming event to celebrate Rebecca’s contributions and send her off on her next chapter with the love and humor she has always brought to our lives.
We are pleased to share that our Assistant Preschool Director, Jamie Lambert, and Preschool Admin and Judaic Coordinator, Dani Wynn, will be stepping into the roles of Co-Preschool Directors to assume leadership of our school at the end of July. With over 40 years of combined experience in leadership at HEA and in Early Childhood Education, Jamie and Dani are poised to bring stability, vision, and care to our school community for years to come. They will be working closely with Rebecca and the staff in the coming months to ensure a smooth and successful transition and to assess the school's administrative support needs.
Please read the letter below from Rebecca, sharing about her decision to move on from her position at HEA. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the appropriate member of our preschool admin team or Rabbi Shulman.

Dear Past, Present, and Future Preschool Families,
When I started working at HEA in the summer of 1999, it was going to be a summer job. My connection to HEA was through one of my mother’s co-workers. Little did I know I would be here 25 years later. Those years have been transformational in my life, both personally and professionally. I became a wife, a mother, and the director of the school.
After months of deliberation, I have made the bittersweet decision to leave HEA in July. I am comforted to be able to pass the torch to my capable teammates, Jamie Lambert and Dani Wynn. Jamie and Dani will continue to foster the excellence and stability our preschool is known for.
While I am leaving my professional role at HEA, the connections I have with families and staff will last forever.
