As the Festival of Shavuot comes to a close, we wanted to follow up and share with you a few opportunities to stand in support of the Boulder Jewish community after the heinous act on Sunday. We have now received information about two important events being held in Boulder tomorrow (June 4th) to pull the community together in strength, solidarity, and healing. These include the following:
Wednesday, June 4, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Governor Polis will be engaging with faith leaders, civic leaders, and members of the community in a call to unite against antisemitism and hate. The event will be held at the Boulder County Historic Courthouse at 1325 Pearl Street in Boulder.RSVP HERE.
Additional security will be provided by Boulder Police Department and Colorado State Patrol.
Wednesday, June 4, A Community Vigil to support the Boulder Jewish Community will be held from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Boulder JCC located at 6007 Oreg Ave in Boulder. Please REGISTER HERE if you are interested in attending.
If you would like to find a smaller setting to process these difficult events, we invite you to connect with Rabbi Shulman or one of our seasoned mental health professionals in the HEA community. We stand in support of one another with sensitivity, resilience, and care.
