Dara Greenstein will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah during Shir Hadash Shabbat Morning Services on February 24, 2024. She is the daughter of Gail Krovitz and Jeff Greenstein, sister of Russell, granddaughter of Buzz and Shelley Krovitz and Mike and Harriet Greenstein.

Dara enjoys reading, writing, drawing, sewing, and other creative outlets. She runs on her school's cross-country team. Dara is curious and enjoys learning about new subjects, and most recently she's learning about genetics.

Dara's Mitzvah Project:
For her Mitzvah project, Dara is collecting new blankets for hospitalized children at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. Having a nice blanket can provide comfort and warmth to kids who are going through a hard time. This also connects to her Torah portion, with feelings of L’dor Vador and building a sense of community through priestly garments. Please consider donating a blanket or two as part of Dara's mitzvah project  and find more information HERE.
