Taking an aliyah at the Torah service is a wonderful way to honor a loved one's yahrzeit, celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or perform a service for our community. Colorado Hebrew Chorale & Kol Nashim The Colorado Hebrew Chorale will open the community observance of Yom HaShoah, Israel Holocaust Remembrance Day with a haunting rendition of Ani Maamin. The event will take place on Sunday, April. 16, at 4:00 p.m. at HEA.
The Chorale will also participate in the JEWISHcolorado community observance of Yom HaZikaron, Israel Memorial Day, on Monday, April 24, at 7:00 p.m., with a rendition of Bab El Wad. This event will also take place at HEA.
Tuesday, May 23, 7:00 p.m. at HEA for Kol Nashim’s annual Woman to Woman program benefitting the Jerusalem Shelter for Battered Women. The program celebrates the strength of women and gives tribute to Israeli survivors of domestic violence.
