MONTHLY THURSDAY NIGHT CLASSES: December 14, January 11, February 8, March 7, April 11, May 16 Session I, Israel at War: An Open Conversation with Rabbi Gruenwald, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Rabbi Gruenwald will lead this conversation regarding Israel's War with Hamas. All are welcome to attend.
Session I - The Power of Musical Improvisation & Prayer, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Eitan Kantor will lead this class as we sing together and explore the power and playfulness of musical improvisation in the context of services and musical performance.
Session II: Dialogue Through Difference with Rabbi Shulman & Ismail Akbulut, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Rabbi Shulman & Ismail Akbulut, Director for Multifaith and Intercultural Engagement, from the Multicultural Mosaic Foundation, will help us explore avenues to dialogue with one another during difficult times.
Jewish Community Healing Initiative (Recurring Event) Starts Monday, November 20 & 27, 5:30 p.m. Join therapists Gitit Kaufman, LPC and Dr. Sandra Mann, PsyD, in supported group spaces as we process and reflect on our individual and collective experiences in the wake of events in Israel and rising antisemitism. Help HEA member Judi Marcus supply much needed hygiene bags for our local homeless community. Please click on the Amazon wish list.
