Beginning with the month of Elul the Shofar is sounded and we are called to prepare for the new year. This year HEA will not only feature a fabulous musical weekend as part of Elul in the Shul but will also host special programming designed to delve into the traditions of the month with study music and expressions of gratitude.

Bubbe Zayde Me Fall Festivals Sunday September 15 2024 12 Elul 5784 130 PM Join grandparents and their kinder ages 2-10 as we approach the fall festivals with a craft for each holiday. 1. Make an apple tree and learn to braid round challah for Rosh Hashanah 2. Make Slime and a whale for the ocean for Yom Kippur and the reading of Jonah 3 Create a family picture frame and chain decorations for Sukkot and create an edible Torah for Simchat Torah. 20 for a Member family price includes all family members. 30 for a Non Member family.

2024 RSVP for Jewish Community Healing Initiative Join therapists Gitit Kaufman LPC and Dr. Sandra Mann PsyD for another series of authentic inclusive and supported group spaces. We will process and reflect on our individual and collective experiences in the wake of events in Israel and rising antisemitism. Find connection community and compassion in the many ways we experience this collective trauma. Please RSVP to one or more events while you do not need to attend these as a series attending multiple sessions will deepen the experience. Providing information below will help us curate the group experiences in meaningful ways and keep you updated of any logistics or changes in the program.

Denver Jewish Day School and PJ Library invite families with children ages 8 and under to a Fall Festival on the Farmette at DJDS on September 22 from 10AM-1PM. This free event will include music hayrides cooking crafts and so much more. Learn more and register HERE.
