Bat Mitzvah of Madilynn Geller

Madilynn Geller will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, January 13 at Shir Hadash. Maddie is the daughter of Stephanie and Gayor Geller, granddaughter of Ada Geller z"l and Reuven Geller, and Lynn and Steve Hinkle, and sister of Asher. Maddie loves dance of all kinds, reading, walking with her dog, and hanging with her friends.

For her mitzvah project, Maddie is making no-sew blankets with her friends, and they will be delivered to Denver Hospice, where they will be given to people under hospice care. Maddie's grandmother, Ada Geller, of blessed memory, passed away in August 2023. She was given a beautiful blanket towards the end of her life that she and her family found comforting during this very difficult time. Maddie hopes to bring some comfort to families that are going through what our family experienced.
