Accessing Your Account

HEAdenver.org At-A-Glance

Our website, HEAdenver.org, has two main functions. It provides: 1) useful information that EVERYONE sees, like worship schedules, learning resources, event information, etc., and 2) useful information that only YOU see. All the information that EVERYONE can see is accessible either from homepage shortcuts or through the first six tabs of the navigational drop-down menu. All the information that only YOU can see is under the seventh tab, MY ACCOUNT. To help you understand how to get the most out of the website and the MY ACCOUNT feature, we've put together the two at-a-glance schematics below.

First, let’s take a look at our revamped homepage.

Next, we’re going to show you how to access your account information and make changes to your account through our website, HEAdenver.org. Click My Account on the navigational menu...Here you can edit and update your personal information, make payments or donations, manage your family yahrzeits and more. BUT IN ORDER FOR YOU TO USE ANY OF THE MY ACCOUNT FEATURES, YOU NEED TO BE LOGGED IN. Call the office or email info@HEAdenver.org if you need help logging in.

How to Pay Your Bill Frequently Asked Questions

I have not received a bill from HEA for my dues or other charges. Have I missed my statement?

You haven’t missed it. In the transition to using Kesef, our accounting firm, many steps had to be done to create accurate statements.

I have auto payment for my statement, and nothing has been taken out of my account or charged to my card since April. Why is that?

Everyone’s automatic payments ended with April payments. When the new dues with the increase hit, the auto payments ended.

So how do I know what my dues and other charges are, and how do I pay them?

We have put together a step-by-step instruction page on getting into your ShulCloud account and viewing and paying your statement viewable in left column of this page, to show you what to do to set up recurring payments and how to have your payments automatically sent from your bank or credit card.

I’ve looked at my bill and have some questions regarding what is on it. Who do I contact for that?

If you find that the amount on your bill is not what you expected, knowing that the Board of Directors did approve a membership dues increase of 5% and a $150.00 security assessment to assist us in covering the increasing needs and costs for both physical and cyber security, I am the on to reach out to.

You can email me at laura@HEAdenver.org or call me at 720-867-4424. I will return your email and/or call just as soon as I can. My goal is to correct any inaccuracy that you find.

We are already into the third month of the fiscal year, and I have missed May, June, and July payments. How do I get caught up?

If you normally make monthly payments, you can divide the balance of your statements by the nine months remaining in our fiscal year. You can do this yourself on your account following the instructions found in the left column, or you can call the office for some help setting this up. If you are unsure how to do this online or it is a financial hardship, please contact me at the contact information I shared above.

I don’t like to pay online. Will I get a paper statement?

Yes, this takes a little longer due to the printing, stuffing envelopes, and the US mail service. We are hoping to get these out in the next week or so.

I want to pay by check. Do I send the check to the HEA?

Your payment will be posted faster if you send your payment by check directly to our accounting firm. Make the check out to HEA and then send it to:

This inflation has caused issues with my personal budget. How do I talk to someone about this?

Just give me a call or send me an email. Please don’t allow money to be a barrier to your connection to the HEA.

What happened to my auto charges on my credit card or my ACH withdrawals I had set up?

All auto payments were stopped on April 30, 2022. If you had an auto payment set up, it is not in effect. You can set up your own scheduled payments by following the step-by-step instructions.

I had a special arrangement for my dues set up, and I don’t see it reflected in my statement.

I am happy to facilitate adjustments and honor your previous agreements. Please email me at laura@HEAdenver.org and explain what your agreement is, and I will get the adjustment done. Please allow 5-10 business days for the adjustment to show on your account. Once the adjustment shows up on your statement, you can follow the directions you find at the link above for payment or to schedule auto payments.

I called you yesterday and haven’t heard back.

The response rate from the emails has been tremendous. Some of you are letting me know your plans for payment, and some are asking questions. Thank you for those emails and phone messages. Many of the HEA staff members are at a staff retreat on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 2 and 3. We are returning emails and phone calls as quickly as we can. We appreciate your patience. Please know, as referenced above, that no auto payments have been taken out since April 30, 2022.
