HEA Israel Mission April 7-14 We invite you to join us for a meaningful mission of consolation connection and service to Israel. The 6-day program will include 3 main components Understanding the reality on the ground from military humanitarian and other perspectives. Joining with local communities and leaders to appreciate their suffering and heroism while volunteering in solidarity with Israelis on the ground. Personal connection and spiritual reflection in preparation for participants to return and share their depth of perspective widely with their home communities.

Havdala and Concert with Basya Schechter - A Cozy Kumzits Saturday March 2 2024 22 Adar I 5784 700 PM - 845 PM GYC Edit Event Info Door open at 700 p.m. Musical Havdala at 715 p.m. The concert begins at 730 p.m. Join us for a cozy and uplifting musical experience with Hazzan Basya Schecter. This adult and kid-friendly event is happening upstairs in the Goldberger Youth Center 3599 S Ivanhoe St Denver CO 80237 also known as the GYC. Basya will play some of her original music as well as some soulful Jewish classics. She will be joined by our Music Director Eitan Kantor. Limited parking is available at the GYC if you are able to please park in our main lot across Ivanhoe St. The GYC has an elevator and is wheelchair accessible. Hazzan Basya Schecter is a composer and lead singer of Pharoahs Daughter an American Jewish world music band from New York City. Founded in 1995 by Ms. Schechter Pharoahs Daughters sound draws from American folk Jewish klezmer avant-garde new-age Renaissance electronic and Middle Eastern music.
