Life & Legacy Ed Series: Death & Dying TODAY! Wednesday, Jan 15th 12:00p to 1:30p This program is designed to help people be less afraid of death, sharing insights and approaches on how to have those difficult conversations.If you watched last year’s movie, Barbie, or even the trailer, the moment when Barbie asks her friends, “do you guys ever think about dying?”, is both hilarious and cringeworthy. It’s not every day we talk about or even think about death. And when we do, it’s rarely about our own mortality! With guest speaker, Jamie Sarche. $10 for HEA Members, $15 for Non-Members.
An Evening of Paint Gem TONIGHT! Wednesday, Jan 15th 7:00p to 8:30p This ladies-out evening of relaxation, as we paint with gems and schmooze, is designed for women ages 30-50. We will have several different designs to follow, with all the gems and applicators available that evening, along with wine and cheese, of course! Cost is $10 member, $20 non-member.

Book Review - Lovers in Auschwitz: A True Story Tuesday, Jan 21st 7:00p to 9:00p Lovers in Auschwitz: A True Story by Keren Blankfeld. An in-person event with the author as we commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. A saga of two young people who found themselves trapped inside a waking nightmare of the Nazis’ creation, yet who nevertheless discovered a love that sustained them through history’s darkest hour. This program is co-sponsored with the Greater Denver Chapter of Hadassah.
Azamra Friday, Jan 24th 5:30p to 8:30p Our monthly musical Friday Evening service and congregational dinner. Azamra is a spirited and fun Kabbalat Shabbat service for all ages.
Adult Beginning Hebrew Reading Class Sunday, Jan 26th 11:00a to 12:00p This eight-week course is intended for the new or novice Hebrew reading student. This is not a conversational Hebrew course.There is no cost for this class for HEA members, but you must register below and pay a $15 book fee. $40 for non-members. The course is taught by Jessica Weber.

The History of Zionism Thursday, Feb 6th 6:30p to 8:00p Led by Amir Kaufman, this three-session class explores the roots of modern-day Zionism. This class is free for HEA members, $30 for non-members.
A Taste of Shabbat at Home Friday, Feb 7th 5:00p to 8:00p We invite you to enjoy a Shabbat dinner with members of our community. It is an opportunity for meaning, to forge connections, and to create a feeling of belonging. On February 7, we ask that you either be a host, or sign up to be a guest as we open the doors of our homes with old or new friends from our community.If you are willing to host, you will be contacted with names of those assigned to your home by Jan 31. If you are a guest, you will be notified of the name/address of your host by Jan. 31.
Shabbat Shira Concert Friday, Feb 8th 7:00p to 9:00p Dazzling Duets featuring Ruthie Lipshulch (Cantorial Soloist, Temple Sinai) and our Music Director Eitan Kantor. Ruthie and Eitan will enchant the audience with duets from Broadway, the synagogue, and the pop world. A collaboration not to be missed! This concert will take place at Temple Sinai.
